The Town of Eagar will be accepting sealed bids for the following solicitations:
Bond Requirements: Performance Bonds
For those solicitations of construction services to cost in excess of $100,000, the following securities shall be required:
- A bid guarantee in between the range of a minimum of ten percent (10-20%) and a maximum of twenty percent of the bid price may be required with the bid. This guarantee can be provided in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument.
- A performance and payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price may be required by the purchasing agent prior to execution of an agreement between the Town and the commodity or service provider.
- For those solicitations for construction services of a cost between $25,000 and $100,000, the purchasing agent shall have the authority to require bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, in cash or otherwise, for such amount as he may deem sufficient to secure the execution of the contract for the best interest of the Town of Eagar.
