BEAR SIGHTING NEAR AIRPORT! RVPD has received several reports of a bear sighting in the residential area near the airport. Arizona Game and Fish has been notified and have personnel enroute. Please use caution if outside. If you spot the bear, please contact the Apache County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at (928) 337-4321 option #6 or dial 911. Be careful out there Round Valley!

Community Awareness post! Antoni Bookman Golab is a University student from Poland doing his summer exchange program here in Round Valley! He has comleted the necessary paperwork and obtained permits from the Town of Springerville and Eagar to go door-to-door selling books to help families with education. He does not represent, nor is affiliated with, any school. This is a summer program to help him pay his way through University. If he knocks on your door, please know he is fully permitted and if you are not interested he will simply thank you for your time and move on.
