The Town of Eagar encourages everyone to conserve water and use it wisely. Simple actions like fixing leaks, watering only when needed, and turning off faucets when not in use can make a big difference. Please see notice below.

Expect intermittent closures on US 180B at 6th Avenue May 14-15 as pedestrian crossing project continues in Eagar The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for intermittent closures on US 180B, locally known as Main Street, at 6th Avenue in the Town of Eagar on Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15, as crews stripe the new crosswalk and install signals on the new High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) pedestrian crossing. Drivers should expect the following restrictions each day from 8 to 10 a.m: ● US 180B will have intermittent closures at 6th Avenue while the crosswalk and signals are being installed. ● Drivers should expect delays and prepare to stop for up to 10 minutes at a time. ● Officers will be on-site directing traffic through the work zone. The purpose of the HAWK pedestrian signal is to stop vehicular traffic only when it’s needed to allow for protected pedestrian crossings. The new HAWK pedestrian crossing is scheduled to be activated on Thursday, May 21. For more information on the HAWK pedestrian signal and how to use it, please visit the project webpage.

We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful. 💙🖤
