We’ve received reports of a misleading “home warranty” notice circulating in our community.
This letter may look official and urgent, claiming to be “secured by the Town of Eagar” and demanding immediate action to avoid losing coverage. It includes phrases like:
“IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED”
“FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU”
Threats of financial liability if you don’t call right away
⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM / MISLEADING SOLICITATION
The Town of Eagar:
❌ Does NOT send home warranty notices
❌ Does NOT require you to call to verify property coverage
❌ Is NOT affiliated with these companies
👉 What to do:
Do NOT call the number listed
Do NOT provide personal or financial information
Shred and discard the notice
Report suspicious mail to local authorities if needed
These notices are designed to create panic and pressure you into responding quickly.
Stay informed. Stay cautious. Help spread the word to protect your neighbors. 🛑

The filing period ends March 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM to get your name on the Primary Ballot.
