The town's goal is to provide a community park that is physically and mentally stimulating for citizens of all ages and physical abilities. In order to do this the Town has added two new play areas, a concrete walking path with five workout stations, four new ramadas (each ramada has a BBQ grill), a skate park/BMX facility and a Serenity area with a gazebo. There are plans to add shuffleboard and a horseshoe pit in the Serenity area as well. To ensure this goal, children from the local schools, senior citizens, citizens at large, and ADA organizations have been included in the planning. Funding for the park was through grants, fundraisers, and by citizen participation in the "Round-Up" program in the monthly water bills. Now the "Round-Up" program is used for the care and up keep of the park and pool, for more information contact the water department (928-333-4128).
